Flights within Madagascar

Air Madagascar is the only airline that operates for internal flights within Madagascar. So, if you fly into the country on an Air Madagascar flight with an Air Madagascar ticket, you will receive a discount ranging from 20% to 30% on your internal domestic flights. So it is worthwhile, if possible to use Air Madagascar to reach our shores. Additionally, sometimes a reciprocal arrangement can be made with Air France.

Ground transport within Madagascar

Much of the wilderness areas are accessible only with four-wheel drive vehicles. Vehicles are chosen depending on the condition of the road and nature of the safari.

Water Transport

For river trips, the transportation depends on the tour. Local pirogue or barge is used for the Tsiribihina River trip. Rubber canoes are also sometimes used.
